MEMPHIS, Tenn., Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- EdR (NYSE: EDR), a leader in the ownership, development and management of collegiate housing, announced it experienced only minor impact from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Most importantly, there were no injuries reported by its residents or on-site employees. While the company's three communities in Florida experienced power outages, all but one of EdR's communities in Florida and Texas are open and operational. The lone exception is the community in Miami which reopens Friday, Sept. 15. Community damage was mostly limited to trees and landscaping with some minor water intrusion due to driving rains.
