eDoorways International Corporation Launches Learning Research, Inc.
LRI Technology to Make Learning Simple, Readily Available and Affordable to the Masses
AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- eDoorways International Corporation (pk: EDWY.PK) announced today that the Company has created Learning Research, Inc. (LRI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of eDoorways International Corporation. The new Nevada corporation will begin operations immediately and is being structured to trade independently on the OTCBB. The new learning technology company will pursue its own business objectives but will leverage eDoorways' award-winning educational learning technology, SmartOne, to create its initial service offering and will provide ancillary support to the eDoorways web service and platform. LRI will have its own specialized, world-class management team and was created in response to recent interest shown in SmartOne technology, a service developed well ahead of its time and currently unmatched in the marketplace.
eDoorways International Corporation was established in 1994 as GK Intelligent Systems (GKI:AMEX), an advanced learning technology company that emerged in the late 90s and became one of the fastest growing stocks in the Southwest, eventually trading as high as $19 7/8. GKI made its name in the educational arena, garnering international awards and launching its SmartOne technology and first product, "Around the Web in 80 Minutes" that received five-star ratings and was distributed both internationally and domestically with significant economic success.
SmartOne is a vetted, proven technology that was selected by the United Nations as a Flagship Technology. The Retail ExChange, a national retailers association, gave GKI and SmartOne four of its five top awards. SmartOne has received acclaim for its ability to personalize the learning experience, emulating the best qualities of human teachers with an emphasis on teaching to the level of the student while focusing on skill and knowledge deficiency to optimize the time spent learning. SmartOne rapidly identifies those areas where a person needs assistance and zeroes in on them until the student demonstrates mastery. This approach can save valuable time and money, and is the reason the US Department of Transportation, the Defense Department and numerous international brands have shown interest in GK Intelligent Systems and its technology.
Learning Research, Inc. intends to leverage this heritage as it incorporates today's technology and capabilities to establish itself as a premier learning innovator. LRI will earn revenue through the licensing of its technology while also investigating the possibility of creating and operating a for-profit learning repository. As its parent organization, eDoorways International Corporation will assist LRI with its growth and evolution as a public corporation and will leverage LRI's products and services to pursue its objectives.
