WASHINGTON, March 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The Electronic Discovery Institute (EDI) announces the official launch of Phase II of the EDI Diversity Mentorship Program. Phase I of the Mentorship Program was launched in December 2017 as part of a brand-new community engagement program under the EDI Diversity Initiative. Since then, EDI has taken feedback from mentors and mentees to adapt the program's efficiency to create even more positive experiences for members, as they continue to cultivate their relationships.
The Mentorship Program provides mentees with an opportunity to gain insight from experienced attorneys, technology specialists and other eDiscovery professionals, and is designed to foster career development and increase collaboration and communication through expanding networks and sharing knowledge. The goal of the Mentorship Program is to build up the talent of the next generation of eDiscovery industry leaders, while attempting to provide opportunities not previously available to the mentees.
EDI will host an informational phone call on Wednesday, April 8th at 1 PM (Eastern) to announce the newest mentor and mentee pairings. EDI invites all members of the community to join the call to help launch Phase II of this important initiative. More information for the call will be provided at a later date after application submissions.
