Edge Velocity and Ekahau Form Strategic Alliance

SALEM, N.H., June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Edge Velocity Corporation and Ekahau, Inc. today announced a technology and business initiative to expand real-time tracking applications in secure, wireless communication networks. Working under a grant from the Federal Transit Administration, the two companies recently developed and implemented real-time, underground mobile tracking solutions for an East Coast urban transit authority. They also completed a successful application for tracking first responder locations in, high-rise buildings using Wi-Fi networks. Under their strategic alliance, the companies will jointly pursue secure wireless communications and incident management applications for first responders, transportation systems and other mission-critical applications.

Edge Velocity's technology uniquely enables the rapid, automatic establishment of an IP-based wireless communications service that reaches high-angle aerial, underground, deep in-building and externally located vehicles, responders and supporting entities.
