College Students Nationwide To Participate In Entrepreneurship Competition
WASHINGTON, Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EDENS, one of the nation's largest retail real estate owners and developers, announced the fourth annual EDENS Retail Challenge. This year for the first time, the competition, will culminate with a final presentation at Washington D.C.'s famed Union Market.
College students from some of the nation's top universities including Babson, NYU, Columbia University, University of Virginia and University of Pennsylvania are participating, and selected concepts will compete in January. An esteemed panel of judges, made up of industry experts, will choose the top three retail concepts to compete in the Finals on March 3 and 4 at Union Market.
Past winners of the EDENS Retail Challenge include Tara Foley of Follain and Alex Lowe, Elvis Lieban and James Gutierrez of Artis. Since receiving top honors, those winners have gone on to open successful retail locations around the country.
