EDENS Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Service Day

COLUMBIA, S.C., Oct. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EDENS, one of the leading real estate developers in the country, is celebrating ten years of Service Day on October 16, 2015. This year, 253 employees will volunteer at 22 community organizations along the East Coast and Texas. Each year, EDENS employees complete the equivalent of a year of work for a volunteer in a single day.

Over the last ten years, EDENS employees have worked with 90 different organizations, from nationally known charities like Ronald McDonald House and the Red Cross, to more local causes like city parks, children's homes and schools.

Bethesda - Homestretch, A Wider Circle, Washington Parks and People, DC Central Kitchen and Martha's Table

Boston - Everett Square Park

Charlotte - Mosaic Store for foster children

Columbia - Epworth; Big Brother, Big Sister; Harvest Hope; Pawmetto Lifeline; Ronald McDonald House; Richland County Library and four other locations

Dallas - The Network

Houston - The Houston Food Bank and cleaning up the Olivewood Cemetery

Miami - Cleaning up the river around Union Planters Plaza and Joshua's Heart
