With 20-plus years of experience, Mendelsohn will oversee the company's marketing initiatives as it continues to expand and grow its client base and its presence in each market it serves. As a 20-year executive with deep experience in financial and consumer marketing, Mendelsohn has established himself as a sought-after leader in the space. Most recently, he served as CMO of CAN Capital, where he led the company's rebranding, launched its digital acquisition channel and developed new products and segments to fuel its expansion. During his 12 years as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Capital One, he led efforts in marketing, digital and customer experience strategy across the credit card, banking and financial services lines of business. There, he also helped launch many signature marketing initiatives, including the award-winning "What's In Your Wallet" campaign and the Capital One Bowl. Mendelson also was a leader in McKinsey's marketing and sales practice, where he advised global clients in the financial services sector on marketing analytics and intelligence, digital strategy and customer experience.
At the start of his career, Mendelsohn worked in packaged goods and retail marketing. He received his MBA in marketing from the University of Maryland and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania, where he was an NSF Fellow.
