Eddie V's Sparkles With Annual Summer Sounds Event

ORLANDO, Fla., July 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Known for its refined, yet comfortably sophisticated atmosphere, culinary-forward seafood creations and vibrant V Lounge, Eddie V's Prime Seafood today announced the return of its annual Sparkling Sounds of Summer event. The six-week series – from July 18 through August 28 -- will celebrate iconic music genres in a different theme each week, including Jazz, R&B, and American Standards, featuring live performances paired with a sparkling and shareable Lounge menu.

"Music is at the core of the Eddie V's vibe," noted Executive Chef Ray Comiskey. "So, we wanted to take this opportunity to pay homage to the iconic genres that have shaped the music of today – including the work of local musicians who play in our own V Lounge."

Eddie V's invites guests to enjoy five brand-new sparkling cocktails for $10 each, alongside last summer's returning favorite, the 24 Karat. This cocktail shines with Belvedere vodka, Grand Marnier, raspberries, fresh peach, and Ferrari Brut Rosé. An array of champagnes and sparkling wines are also available by the glass and select champagnes by the bottle. Featured cocktails include the Lemon Verbena, Sparkling Ruby, Cucumber Gin and Tonic, Bee-jito, and Blackberry Julep. 

Accompanying the cocktail arrangement is a Seasonal Tastes Menu offering five shareable culinary creations for $6 each: Ahi Tuna Crudo, Heirloom Tomato Tartare, Eddie's Oysters, Beef Tataki, and Salt and Pepper Shrimp.

Each item pairs perfectly with a cocktail and is designed for tasting and sharing while vibing to the sparkling sounds of summer in the Lounge. Masterfully paired, the performances will feature the rhythmic sounds and icons of Soulful R&B, the grooving hits of Cool Jazz, and the Great American Songbook. Guests will experience the repertoires of artists and composers such as Louis Armstrong, Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and more.
