Eddie V's Set To Debut In Pittsburgh This March

Eddie V's serves only fresh, prime seafood from pristine waters around the world, including highly-prized seasonal items artistically prepared and presented. The menu also features a wide array of seasonal oysters complete with tasting notes on the regionally sourced options like Eel Lake, Copps Island, Katama Bay and Gigamoto, among others.

Along with prime seafood, premium steaks are hand-cut from the finest, specialty-aged, center-cut beef available, ensuring peak flavor. The diverse dinner menu offers signature dishes including Crab Fried Rice, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Georges Bank Scallops, Chilean Sea Bass, Parmesan Sole, a 10 oz. Prime New York Strip, and a Flaming "Bananas Foster" Butter Cake for dessert. Menu items can be paired with selections from an award-winning, world-class wine list of more than 300 options.

Pittsburgh has a legacy steeped in the jazz greats who passed through the city on their way between New York and Chicago, offering Eddie V's a comprehensive, yet refined palate and access to extraordinary culinary and musical talent. The concept's eclectic atmosphere puts a modern spin on Prohibition-era speakeasies, where cocktails and jazz were the height of fashion. Meticulously crafted cocktails embody a lifestyle of idealism, fortitude and decadence. Highlights include: a Yuzu-infused Tokyo Gimlet, a Smoked Old Fashioned served tableside on a smoked plank, the blue diamond ice cube chilled Hope Diamond, a delightfully Dirty Devil martini with a blue cheese and pepper olive trio and the signature, dessert-inspired Bananas Foster Martini.

Live jazz is played nightly by locally-acclaimed musicians in the restaurant's V Lounge, where guests can mingle and sample cocktails, including the Happy Hour menu. The full Happy Hour menu features Chef's Teasers, Half Shell Oysters, signature appetizer items, hand-shaken cocktails and wines by the glass.

Located at 501 Grant Street, Eddie V's Pittsburgh will host guests in both the main dining room and three private dining rooms for business meetings and celebratory occasions. The 9,390 square foot space will offer a vibrant and welcoming ambiance highlighted by a glass-enclosed, walk-through wine cellar and contemporary, Art Deco-inspired design that draws the guest in to discover more around each corner. The V Lounge features an expansive oval-shaped bar top, cocktail tables and elevated booth seating. Eddie V's draws guests in, inviting them to see and been seen, or simply sit back and savor an exceptional evening.

The restaurant is a central part of the historic Union Trust Building's restoration, spearheaded by Boston-based developer, The Davis Companies (TDC). Built in 1915 by industrialist Henry Clay Frick, the Union Trust Building's Flemish-Gothic design makes it one of the most prominent elements of the city's architectural heritage.
