"Attending an eDCSD: Colorado Cyber enrollment session will provide families with insight into our school model, our tailored learning environments, our curriculum, and our support services, allowing families to see why eDCSD is the perfect fit for their student's educational needs," said Sohne Van Selus, principal of eDCSD.
At each event, families will meet a school administrator and a Student Learning Advocate (SLA), who, once a child is enrolled, monitors the student's progress, offers guidance and counseling, and provides one-on-one support for students and their families. Attendees will learn about eDCSD's course offerings, including the accredited Lincoln Interactive and Little Lincoln curriculum, and have the opportunity to begin the enrollment process.
For those Colorado families who've already begun enrolling in the eDCSD, they will be able to complete the process at any of these events.
"Families who have already begun the enrollment process can connect directly with a Student Learning Advocate or administrator, beginning the relationships so critical to student success," said Van Selus. "In addition, those families will have an opportunity to ask any last minute questions."
All attending families are encouraged to bring the necessary documents needed for enrollment, including their child's birth certificate, immunization records, school transcripts and proof of residency in Colorado.
