EDAC Technologies Corporation Announces Election of Christopher R. Sansone to Board of Directors
FARMINGTON, Conn., April 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- EDAC Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: EDAC), a diversified designer, manufacturer and servicer of precision components for aerospace and industrial applications, announced that Christopher R. Sansone was elected to the Company's Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders, held earlier today. The appointment of Mr. Sansone increases the size of the Board from six to seven members.
Mr. Sansone is the founder and managing partner of Sansone Partners, LP, a private investment management firm established in 2007. Concurrently, Mr. Sansone serves as an analyst for Robotti & Company LLC, a New York City-based investment research boutique, where his responsibilities include advising the firm's institutional clients on small cap investment opportunities. During his career, he also has served as an executive in the private equity sector. Mr. Sansone is a graduate of Pace University.
