Ed Rowe Joins AppDynamics as Senior Vice President of Engineering
AppDynamics prepares for massive growth with addition of Adobe innovator
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AppDynamics, Inc., the leader in application performance management (APM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Ed Rowe to the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering. Ed joins AppDynamics after leading product development teams at Adobe Systems, where he managed and scaled large teams for multiple key products and developed innovations that resulted in his filing more than 20 patents.
Prior to joining AppDynamics, Ed was Vice President of Product Development for Adobe's developer products including Flex, Flash Builder, and Cold Fusion, leading more than a hundred developers, testers and product managers around the world. Ed was also the driving force behind Adobe AIR, and he co-founded and led AIR as a startup project within Adobe. Before that Ed was one of the key engineers behind Adobe Acrobat Reader, a product used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
Ed is enthusiastic about joining AppDynamics and contributing to the direction of its Java monitoring and .NET monitoring product.
