ECOT Celebrates 15th Graduating Class
Fourth Straight Year of Over 2,000 Graduates
COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT), Ohio's first and largest online public charter school, celebrated its 15th annual graduation ceremony June 6th at the Schottenstein Center.
Over the past two years, ECOT has graduated more students than any other district in Ohio, and with a graduating class of over 2,000 students for the fourth straight year; ECOT's 2015 graduating class is again the single largest graduating class in Ohio.
State Auditor Dave Yost and Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott addressed a crowd made up of thousands of ECOT graduates and their families to offer their words of encouragement and congratulations.
"With over 17,000 graduates in ECOT's 15 years of service to Ohio's students, today continues to show the need for online schools like ECOT for thousands of Ohio families each year," said ECOT Superintendent Rick Teeters.
