ecoSTORE USA Set to Celebrate Grand Opening with Eco-Partner GreenBlendz, Inc.
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, July 29, 2010, the eco-world will have new reason to celebrate. And it's all happening in Michigan.
ecoSTORE USA, a Michigan-based manufacturer of environmentally-friendly household cleaning and baby products, and their new manufacturing acquisition, GreenBlendz. Inc., will today celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting event in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
"GreenBlendz was created to fill the need for a manufacturing partner truly committed to brands like ecoSTORE USA that don't want just another chemical plant making their product," added Steve Berry, General Manager of GreenBlendz. "As part of the initiative, our new website (see Greenblendz.com, designed by www.designfwd.com of Royal Oak, MI) will go live on Tuesday, July 27, 2010."
"We can't wait to kick this off. It's great news for eco-consumers, eco-retailers and the state of Michigan itself," said Lyne Appel Downing, Vice President of operations for ecoSTORE USA.
Many influential Michigan political and industrial leaders, combined with major ecoSTORE retail clients, plan to be a part in this grand opening event to help celebrate and emphasize the importance of this exciting new sector of Michigan's manufacturing portfolio.
ecoSTORE USA products manufactured in Michigan include plant- and mineral- based Liquid Laundry, Citrus All Purpose Cleaner, Pure Oxygen Whitener, Liquid Dish, Baby Moisturizer, Baby Sleepy Time Bath, Baby Body Wash, Baby Nappy Balm.
The July 29, 2010 opening is all part of an aggressive investment strategy in both people and the planet. More than $2.5 million investor dollars have been poured into the new Auburn Hills facility in recent months. Last December, ecoSTORE USA purchased GreenBlendz, a specialty manufacturing company, which has been completely renovated to become the new location of ecoSTORE's manufacturing operations as well as ecoSTORE USA's Michigan home base.
The grand opening means adding 35 new jobs to the ECO marketplace, as well as increased production of life-enhancing ecoSTORE USA products. As it expands its operations over the next five years, ecoSTORE USA expects to employ 50 people.
