ECMC Foundation Supports Oregon's Latino Youth to Pursue Their College Dreams
MONMOUTH, Ore., March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fifth year, ECMC Foundation is the title sponsor of the 21st Annual Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Conference (CECLC), taking place March 11 at Western Oregon University. This event encourages Latino youth to pursue educational opportunities beyond high school.
The conference is the largest gathering of Latino student leaders in the Pacific Northwest. The all-day event provides over 1,800 participants from nearly 70 high schools an opportunity to attend educational, cultural and leadership workshops, visit with college representatives and celebrate the accomplishments of the Latino community.
