ECI Chosen to Upgrade Lepida SpA's Regional Broadband Network in Italy for Current and Future Requirements

Lepida SpA is an in-house communications provider, established in 2007 by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government, created to design, realize and manage broadband infrastructures for the regional public administrations and public entities in the region.

ECI was selected to provide a turn-key, end-to-end, 10/100/200G regional WDM network with a 96 channel, tunable flex grid and high-capacity OTN cross connect in the main POPs, based on ECI's Apollo packet-optical family.  ECI's Apollo family provides state-of-the-art, transparent and flexible DWDM transport solutions for a wide range of customer needs.
