eCardio Recognized for Growth and Workplace Dynamics
HOUSTON, Nov. 11, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- eCardio announced today that it received three prestigious awards; two recognizing its outstanding growth, and a third identifying eCardio as one of Houston's top workplaces. For the third consecutive year, the Houston Business Journal honored eCardio as one of the FastTech 50, and the Houston Chronicle awarded eCardio in the Top 100 Workplaces in Houston.
On Friday, November 5, the top 50 of almost 400 technology companies attended the FastTech 50 Awards Luncheon where the rankings were first made public. eCardio placed in the top ten for a second consecutive year. eCardio continues to climb the list of Houston-based technology companies experiencing the fastest percentage of revenue growth over the past two years.
eCardio was recognized for a second time by the Houston Business Journal as Enterprise Champion of the year. The Enterprise Champion award is presented to companies who demonstrate extensive growth, industry leadership and company culture.
"In this trying economy, and the ever changing reimbursement environment, we are delighted as a company to be recognized as one of the top ten fastest growing technology firms in Houston, the fourth largest city in America," noted Larry Lawson, President and CEO. "eCardio's continued growth is based on the ability to adopt new technologies and adapt to industry changes."
The announcement comes in the wake of other awards presented to eCardio including recognition on the 2010 Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies and inclusion in the Houston Business Journal's Fast 100 list which honors high-growth companies in the Houston area.
Additionally, eCardio was awarded in the 2010 Houston Chronicle's Top Workplace list, which is based on a comprehensive analysis conducted by an independent company, Workplace Dynamics. Companies were selected based on a survey completed by employees measuring qualities such as company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation and benefits.
"Our employees are the center piece of our successful development and growth," stated Melanie Arnett, Human Resources Manager. "Our employees' commitment and passion for exceptional service is evident in their interaction with our patients and physicians. In appreciation, we strive to put programs in place to ensure our employees feel valued and appreciated."
