Eaton Vance Municipal Income Trusts Annual Meeting of Shareholders
BOSTON, Dec. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- At a meeting held on December 12, 2011, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Municipal Income Trust (NYSE: EVN), Eaton Vance California Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: CEV), Eaton Vance Massachusetts Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: MMV), Eaton Vance Michigan Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: EMI), Eaton Vance New Jersey Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: EVJ), Eaton Vance New York Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: EVY), Eaton Vance Ohio Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: EVO) and Eaton Vance Pennsylvania Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: EVP), each a closed-end investment company, voted to hold the Annual Meetings of Shareholders of each Trust concurrently on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. (EDT). The meetings will be held at the principal office of the Trusts, Two International Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02110. Proxy materials will be mailed on or about January 26, 2012 to shareholders of record on January 12, 2012. Shareholders of each Trust will be asked to vote on the election of three Class I Trustees, one Class II Trustee and one Class III Trustee of the Trusts.
