Eaton Vance Municipal Income Term Trust Announces Name Change
BOSTON, Dec. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective January 5, 2015, Eaton Vance Municipal Income Term Trust (the "Fund") will change its name to Eaton Vance Municipal Income 2028 Term Trust. The name change reflects the Fund's intent to cease its investment operations on or about June 30, 2028 and thereafter liquidate its portfolio. The Board of Trustees may extend the Fund's term for a period of not more than 12 months from the foregoing termination date if it determines that it is in the best interest of shareholders to do so.
