Eaton Vance Appoints Keith Schweitzer as Director, Consultant Relations
BOSTON, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Management, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp. (NYSE: EV), announced today the appointment of Keith Schweitzer as Director, Consultant Relations. Mr. Schweitzer is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with consultants in the Western region. He reports to Brad Thomas, Director of Global Consultant Relations for Eaton Vance Management.
Mr. Schweitzer began his career in the investment management business 23 years ago. Most recently, he was a Senior Vice President in the Global Consultant Relations Group for Franklin Templeton Institutional, where he held a leadership role and built strategic relationships with national/regional consultants to enhance the firm's market and product positioning within the institutional sponsor market. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President in the Defined Contribution Investment Only Business Development Group for Franklin Templeton. Before this, he held positions at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., including Client Investment Strategist and Relationship Manager roles in the firm's Retirement Group. Mr. Schweitzer graduated from Villanova University with a bachelor of science degree, cum laude, in Accountancy.

With the hiring of Mr. Schweitzer, Eaton Vance's global consultant relations team now includes five full-time professionals. The consultant relations team works closely with sales and client relations colleagues to provide institutional clients and their consultants with a broad array of investment capabilities, including equity, fixed- and floating-rate income, cash management and alternative strategies.
