Eastern Michigan University Selects Veritix® as Exclusive Ticketing Provider
Company to Handle Primary and Secondary Ticketing Services for Eastern Michigan Campus Events
CLEVELAND, Dec. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Veritix®, the leading innovator in digital ticketing, event marketing and relationship management applications, today announced that it has entered into an exclusive, multi-year agreement with Eastern Michigan University, located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Veritix will serve as its primary and secondary ticketing provider and support all university events at Rynearson Stadium, The Convocation Center, The Student Center, and three concert venues -- Pease Auditorium, Quirk Theatre, and Sponberg Theatre. Flash Seats®, the patented Veritix digital ticketing system, will also be introduced as a venue entry option.
Eastern Michigan, a member of the NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference, selected the Veritix college ticketing and business platform for a few key business reasons: the ability for Veritix to handle on-sales across multiple campus venues and the system's innovative fundraising and marketing solution. Eastern Michigan also saw significant value in the customer data the versatile Veritix system provides, allowing the Eagles to cater to Eagles students, fans and alumni. The Eagles are set to launch the Veritix platform in June of 2014.
"We believe the Veritix ticketing platform will provide our students and fans with the ultimate ticketing buying experience. An innovative fundraising management platform will equip us with the necessary tools to track donations, priority points and payments for a big part of our fan base - our alumni," said Mark Monahan, Director of The Convocation Center and Eastern Michigan University.
Eastern Michigan University is another important collegiate partner for Veritix, and Veritix is excited to work closely with the school. "We are confident that the Veritix platform will provide Eastern Michigan with an elite single platform to manage all their ticketing and business needs," said Tim Wicinski, Senior Sales Representative at Veritix. "We look forward to our partnership and serving the many Eagles students, fans and alumni in the coming years."
