Eastern Alliance Insurance Group Appoints Regional Underwriting and Claim Managers for Midwest Regional Office
CARMEL, Ind., Feb. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Eastern Alliance Insurance Group ("EAIG") has appointed Steven Mansfield as Regional Underwriting Manager, and Sandra Hodgson as Regional Claims Manager, for its Midwest territory. EAIG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ProAssurance Corporation, is a domestic casualty insurance group specializing in workers' compensation insurance.
Mansfield and Hodgson are responsible for management of the underwriting and claim operations, respectively, for the Midwest region. Both are based out of Eastern's Midwest Regional Office, located in Carmel, Indiana, and report to Mort Large, Midwest Regional Business Executive.

Mansfield brings more than ten years of underwriting and account management experience in the workers' compensation insurance industry. He most recently served as the Vice President of Workers' Compensation Brokerage in the Midwest Region for Specialty Risk of America, and previously in various roles with Midwest Insurance and Travelers Insurance. Mansfield graduated from University of Missouri—St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Hodgson brings thirty-two years of claims, account management and sales experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. She most recently served as the Claim Manager of Workers' Compensation for United Heartland, and gained additional claim experience through positions with Hartford Insurance Group, General Casualty Insurance and the EBI Companies. Hodgson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll College and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management from Concordia University. She holds Certified Risk Management and Certified Insurance Counselor designations.
