WASHINGTON, Oct. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- WHAT: Easter Seals, a national non-profit that helps veterans and military families connect to meaningful employment, education and overall wellness, has assembled a panel of veterans to examine how public-private partnerships lead to reintegration success for women veterans.
Veterans of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army National Guard will highlight best practices for helping women veterans access the local services they need during their transitions to civilian life.
At the briefing, Easter Seals will release its new white paper, Call to Action: Support Community Efforts to Improve the Transition to Civilian Life for Women Veterans.
Call to Action highlights policy recommendations for Congress to aid in improving reintegration and long-term success of female veterans through the expansion of community-based, public-private partnerships.
WHO: The briefing panel will feature four veterans with personal and professional expertise in community reintegration:
