Easter Seals New York's Walk With Me New York Promises to Be a Grand Slam!
Signature Event Raises Funds and Awareness for Children & Adults With Disabilities

NEW YORK, Aug. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Easter Seals New York is thrilled to host its annual Walk With Me New York event on Friday, August 3rd at Joyce Kilmer Park in the Bronx. Hundreds of walkers will join Easter Seals New York ambassadors, board members, and friends for a family fun walk in Joyce Kilmer Park, complete with prizes, food, and other entertainment. Top fundraisers will also take a quick walk to Yankee Stadium and have the chance to enjoy a professional baseball game, where the New York Yankees will take on the Seattle Mariners.

Proceeds from Walk With Me New York will go towards Easter Seals New York programs and services, including six Child Development Centers in Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island, a Vocational Services program, and a quadriplegic rugby team. In these regions, Easter Seals New York provides early intervention, preschool special education, physical & speech therapy, and job training skills to children and adults with disabilities or special needs.
