TD Bank is the first major bank in the U.S. to provide access to simple and transparent disclosure forms for savings accounts
CHERRY HILL, N.J., and PORTLAND, Maine, Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, has taken another step in simplicity and transparency by now offering easier to understand disclosure forms for its savings accounts. The new savings forms follow the bank's spring launch of a simplified set of checking disclosure forms based on recommendations from Pew's Safe Checking in the Electronic Age Project.
"TD Bank is committed to creating a hassle-free and transparent banking experience and the new disclosure forms, which clearly lay out the terms and conditions of our products, are aligned with that mission," said Ryan Bailey, Head of Deposit Products and Pricing, TD Bank. "Our new forms are designed to make it easier for customers to understand and compare savings accounts, empowering them to make sound financial decisions."
The simple and easy-to-read account guides will help customers understand fees and services, review costs associated with the account(s) and evaluate processing policies.
TD's account guides will be available online at tdbank.com for both customers and non customers. The forms can be found by visiting www.tdbank.com/accountguides.
