EASi's stock plan software enables its clients to better manage the cumbersome legal requirements and administrative burdens of equity compensation programs. The systems integration between EASi and SecondMarket will help to simplify the process for companies and their selling shareholders participating in company-sponsored PLPs on the SecondMarket platform. SecondMarket allows companies to dictate the terms of their PLPs, including choosing eligible buyers and sellers, the timing of transactions and the pricing mechanism.
"We continue to look for innovative ways to support our clients and streamline key processes," explained Carine Schneider, CEO of EASi. "We're delighted to work with SecondMarket to make trading easier for participants and simplify stock plan management for our clients."
"As companies continue to stay private longer, they are increasingly using SecondMarket as a way to incentivize and reward longstanding employees," said Adam Oliveri, Executive Vice President at SecondMarket. "By collaborating with EASi, we can provide our clients with an important tool to simplify shareholder management while providing liquidity to their employees and other shareholders."
