Urban Outfitters Inc. Research Reports
On August 18, 2014, Urban Outfitters Inc. (Urban Outfitters) announced its Q2 FY 2015 and H1 FY 2014 financial results (period ended July 31, 2014). For Q2 FY 2015, total sales were $811.3 million, up 7.0% YoY. During the quarter, the contribution of retail segment in total sales declined to 92.7% from 94.3% in Q2 FY 2014. In terms of net sales by brand, Anthropologie Group accounted for 42.9% of the total net sales, followed by Urban Outfitters made up 40.5% of net sales during the quarter. Net income was at $67.5 million or $0.49 per diluted share compared with $76.4 million or $0.51 per diluted share in Q2 FY 2014. For H1 FY 2015, total sales were $1.5 billion, up 6.5% YoY. Net income was reported at $105.0 million or $0.74 per diluted share versus $123.4 million or $0.83 per diluted share in Q2 FY 2014. Richard A.
