Eagle Brand® and Ingrid Hoffmann Announce $10,000 Grand Prize Winner in Signature Recipe Contest

ORRVILLE, Ohio, March 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The makers of Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk along with Ingrid Hoffmann, the host of the Cooking Channel's Simply Delicioso and Delicioso on Telefutura/Univision, are pleased to announce the grand prize winner in the Eagle Brand Signature Recipe Contest. Eagle Brand teamed up with Hoffmann to inspire home bakers to use their imagination in the kitchen and find the signature recipes that make mealtimes sweet. Ingrid and a panel of judges declared the White Chocolate Apricot Swirl Cheesecake submitted by Rebecca G. from Reston, Virginia as the grand prize winner for her cheesecake category recipe submission.

In October 2010, the brand asked home bakers to submit an original recipe using Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk in one of five categories: fudge, cheesecake, pie, cookie bar or other at www.eaglebrand.com. Qualified entries underwent an initial round of judging based on taste, originality, creativity, appearance and ease of preparation. The qualified entries were narrowed down to a group of five category winners, and judged by Hoffmann and a panel of judges. Dishes were scored on taste, originality and creativity. The recipe with the highest score was declared the winner.
