E-retailer Dresslily upgrades for faster, more efficient shipping

The new shipping protocols will apply to shoppers in the United States, Great Britain, Spain and 12 other countries.

Customers in these areas will now have four options, enabling them to choose the delivery process that best suits their needs. Shipping times, which ranged from 7-30 business days, are expected to be reduced to 3-7 days.
Returns and refunds will be processed much more quickly as well.
"We're always striving to make the shopping experience more convenient," said James Dean, head of customer support for Dresslily. "Our new system makes the shipping process much more efficient and shoppers can now choose a delivery time based on their budget and how quickly they need the item."
For many online fashion sites, including Dresslily, a major segment of their business comes from international customers. Thus shipping time is a critical factor when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Gamiss (www.gamiss.com), a Dresslily sister site, has followed Dresslily's lead in improving the delivery process.
