Dynamo, BBVA Compass Stadium To Implement Flash Seats® for 2017 Season

HOUSTON, Feb. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Houston Dynamo have reached a multi-year agreement with AXS which will enable the team to implement Flash Seats, the company's digital ticketing and secondary marketplace technology. The Los Angeles-based company will be the exclusive provider for primary and secondary ticket sales for all Dynamo home games and all events at BBVA Compass Stadium, the club announced today.

Flash Seats gives fans a secure online portal where they can buy and sell event seats safely and conveniently, as well as use their smart phones as a paperless ticket. The patented system has been used at sporting events all over the country and saves fans the time and hassle of printing and keeping track of paper tickets. The system also allows fans to safely and digitally transfer their tickets to other people if they are unable to attend an event, for example.

Although the club is transitioning to Flash Seats, fans still have the ability to utilize paper tickets and print-at-home tickets for this season, providing even more flexibility. Dynamo fans have three ways in which to access the stadium with their ticket:

1. By using Flash Seats, either via the Flash Seats App or through the credit card, driver's license or Season Ticket Member card associated with their Flash Seats account
2. With a paper ticket purchased at the box office or shipped as part of their season ticket package
3. With an e-mailed ticket, either on their phone or printed at home

The Flash Seats Marketplace will also become the official secondary ticket marketplace for Houston Dynamo tickets. Fans who can't make it to a game can easily list their tickets for sale on the Flash Seats Marketplace, allowing them to easily and safely resell them with just the click of a button, all within their Flash Seats account.

For fans who received paper or electronic tickets and wish to re-sell them, they simply need to convert their ticket to Flash Seats by calling the Dynamo ticket service office at 713-276-7500. Those tickets will be re-issued as Flash Seats, at which point a user can list them for sale within the Flash Seats Marketplace.
