Dynamic Computer Corporation Kicks off 2010 Leveraging 2009's Success
Financial growth, business development and team expansion mark 2009 and set aggressive pace for year ahead
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynamic Computer Corporation (http://dcc-online.com),a full-scale enterprise RFID and IT systems integrator, enters 2010 in full force building upon its 2009 momentum, which includes record high revenue numbers, strategic industry business and relationships and staff growth.
Despite the struggling economy in 2009, Dynamic continued to grow its business in a variety of industries including aerospace, health care, defense, prime contractors, education, government, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. In 2009 Dynamic exceeded $22.7 million in revenue, a 24 percent increase from its 2008 annual revenue figure of $18.3 million.
Founded in 1979 and crediting strong existing and long-term business relationships, Dynamic was relatively insulated from the year's uncertain financial environment: "Our business was very strong entering into 2009," said Dynamic Computer Corporation CEO Farida Ali. "This financial stability and an ability to convert the satisfaction of existing customers into project expansion allowed us to operate in a capital restricted environment."
Dynamic's successes within the aerospace industry was a 2009 growth driver. Providing IT systems integration to four of the 'Top 10' United States Defense Contractors, Dynamic won several bids on long-term aerospace work and increased the numbers of buyers and locations it services.
According to Ali, "These successes fueled larger volume buys and, as a result, were major factors in our ability to weather the storm in 2009."
Specific to the company's RFID business, Dynamic has experienced tremendous successes within the healthcare space, helping providers across the country reduce costs, minimize risks and improve patient care. In August, healthcare network Premier, Inc. awarded Dynamic with a group purchasing contract to provide RFID asset tracking and management solutions for its healthcare alliance members. Premier's alliance is the largest in the country, comprised of more than 1,700 hospitals and 49,000 other healthcare sites that represent over $31 billion in annual purchasing power.
As a result of the company's continued RFID business growth, the company hired a total of five professionals, including the newly created position of executive business manager, to drive and support RFID solutions sales, implementation and partner opportunities.
"The healthcare industry is rapidly changing as new health information technology (HIT) is implemented and Dynamic as a systems integrator is able to offer healthcare providers a service that ensures interoperability is achieved," said Farida Ali, CEO of Dynamic Computer Corporation. "For 2010 we renew our commitment to vetting the top vendors and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies to enable customers to create the strongest and most efficient HIT infrastructure possible."
The company, whose success depends in large part upon the strength of its partner roster, launched a formal Partner Program in 2009. IT technology partners including Hewlett-Packard Co., Microsoft, Nexan, Wyse, APC and Avocent, and RFID technology providers including AiRISTA, Versus, Stratum Global and Guard RFID benefited from concentrated partner relations conducted by the Dynamic team. Dynamic invested significant resources against ensuring its representatives were equipped with standardized partner product information, as well. The company acquired certifications under numerous partner programs including HP Certified, Dell Certified Partner, Motorola AirDefense Technical and Symantec Technical Specialist certifications.
"Our partner program and certifications were contributing factors to our growth in 2009," said Farida Ali, Dynamic Computer Corporation CEO. "They enhanced our ability to lock in very competitive product pricing and quality partner leads."
In addition to creating strategic partnerships with vendors to offer customers the latest in RFID and RTLS solutions, in 2009 Dynamic established relationships to connect providers with the money needed to implement RFID and RTLS solutions. Through a new partnership with IMGrants, a funding research program offered by Ingram Micro Inc., Dynamic implemented the ability to help customers maximize private, state and federal funds, including those that are a result of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act. "Technology can be a significant investment for any size healthcare organization and because we can align many of our solutions with the evolving definition of 'meaningful use' many of them could be eligible for these grants," added Ali.
