DYMO/Mimio Interactive Teaching Technologies Offers Free Science Content Packs Through its MimioConnect Teacher Website

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Jan. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DYMO/Mimio, a provider of interactive teaching technologies for educators is offering 11 new content packs, available in 26 languages and tailored to a variety of grade levels, for use with the MimioClassroom™ family of products.

Eleven downloads will be available this month on mimioconnect.com. The first five packs include hundreds of high quality, silhouetted photo images of mammals, birds, insects, arachnids, myriapods, mollusks, crustaceans, fish, echinoderms, amphibians, reptiles and adaptations of animals.  The Enhanced Graphic Organizers Pack includes an assortment of customizable graphic organizer templates, so teachers can easily adapt materials to their needs. The Lessons Pack includes nine multi-page lessons across English language arts, social studies and science for elementary, middle and high school levels.  

The second batch of downloads includes hundreds of images pertaining to plants, habitats, and plant and animal life cycle sequences. Additionally, there are nearly 50, one-page activities and more than 100 corresponding, ready-made questions focusing on biology for use with the MimioVote™ assessment system.

All of these resources provide templates and tools, so teachers don't have to create interactive lessons, activities and questions from scratch. They can customize the templates and activities to their students' grade level, objectives and required standards as needed.
