Duval County (FL) Schools Choose Powerheart® G5 AEDs to Help Protect Athletes, Parents, and Spectators

WAUKESHA, Wis., June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardiac Science announced today that the Duval County Public Schools in Florida will be the first U.S. school system to receive the new Powerheart® G5 automated external defibrillator (AED).

The Powerheart G5 is the first FDA-cleared AED to offer a combination of automatic shock delivery, dual-language functionality, variable escalating energy, and rapid shock times. The Duval County Public Schools, serving the area surrounding Jacksonville in Northeast Florida, make up the 20^th largest school district in the nation.
