WASHINGTON, Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. (NYSE: DFT), a leading owner, developer, operator and manager of enterprise-class, carrier-neutral, large multi-tenant wholesale data centers, today announced that Scott Davis, executive vice president, operations, will be speaking at the AFCOM Data Center World Conference being held Sept. 20-23 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
Davis' session, titled 'Mega Data Centers – The Next Step: Unraveling Industry Trends,' will provide a first look at DuPont Fabros Technology's new mega data center ACC7, which utilizes cost-effective innovation to unravel and address the numerous industry trends facing end users today. A prominent feature of the new design includes a shift from the use of conventional low-voltage Isolated Parallel (I-P) UPS topology to a medium voltage (MV) I-P solution. The presentation will highlight the advantages and challenges of a MV application. DFT will also be exhibiting at booth 618.
