WILMINGTON, Del., Jan. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont (NYSE: DD) today announced two leadership changes:
James C. Collins, president – DuPont Crop Protection, has been named vice president – DuPont Acquisition Integration team, effective Jan. 15. Collins, 48, will lead the integration team preparing for the acquisition of Danisco, a leading industrial enzymes and specialty food ingredients company, which was announced Jan. 9. He has served in a range of business, engineering and operations leadership roles around the world since joining DuPont in 1984 and has served on the acquisition integration teams for Protean Technologies International, Pioneer Hi-Bred and Griffin, L.L.C. Collins has led the Crop Protection business since 2004. Craig F. Binetti, president – DuPont Nutrition & Health and Applied BioSciences, will continue to lead his businesses and work closely with the new Acquisition Integration team.
Rik L. Miller has been appointed president – DuPont Crop Protection, effective Feb. 1. Miller, 53, has held progressive business leadership roles in the United States since joining the company in 1984 before serving in his current role as regional director for Crop Protection in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
