DETAILS: For the 2nd annual Dunkin Donuts® Cops on Donut Shops event, participating stores have partnered with the Law Enforcement Torch Run ® (LETR) to raise money and awareness for the 27,115 athletes that compete with and benefit from Special Olympics Georgia. On National Donut Day, June 2, 2017, law enforcement officers that are members of LETR and staff from Special Olympics Georgia will be stationed at over 60 Dunkin Donuts® locations in Georgia to serve every customer not only a free donut with the purchase of a beverage, but information about Special Olympics Georgia as well.
Special Olympics Georgia provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for 27,115 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
