Dukas PR Changes Its Name to Dukas Linden Public Relations as Firm Continues Expansion
NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dukas Public Relations, one of the leading financial public relations agencies in the industry, has changed its name to "Dukas Linden Public Relations" (DLPR). The name change underscores Seth Linden's growing managerial responsibilities and commitment to the agency, as well the substantial growth the agency has made since its founding in 2002. Richard Dukas will remain chairman and CEO, and Mr. Linden will keep his current title of president.
"Our agency has experienced the strongest year in its history, both in terms of revenue and client retention, and Seth has played a major role in our growth and success," said Mr. Dukas. "Seth became a partner in the agency several years ago as a result of his tireless leadership and exceptional client service, and I am proud that the 'Linden' name is now part of the agency's brand and identity."
Mr. Linden joined the agency in 2006 and has been a key part of DLPR's success, helping to increase revenues by over 400% and significantly enhancing the quality of its service offerings. He came to the agency after a seven-year career in broadcast journalism, including five years as a Capitol Hill correspondent for NBC affiliates.
DLPR has earned significant recognition and won multiple awards for its work. It is ranked as one of the ten largest financial PR agencies in the industry by O'Dwyer's, a noted PR industry trade publication; and was named the "Best PR Firm" in the industry in 2014 by HFMWeek, a leading asset management publication. Additionally, it was ranked by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately-owned companies in the U.S. for three straight years.
"In today's highly concentrated media environment, it is more essential than ever for companies to work with strategic and skilled communications practitioners who can help define their messages and make sure that they are heard clearly by their audiences," said Mr. Linden. "Financial PR agencies need to act as 'brand stewards' to help clients navigate the extremely complex process of building and enhancing their brands and differentiating themselves from their competitors. DLPR is extremely well positioned to take up this challenge, and I am excited and honored to be a part of our long-term strategy for growth."
