Dukas Linden Public Relations Announces Four Senior Executive Promotions
Leading Financial Public Relations Agency Strengthens Management Team
NEW YORK, June 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dukas Linden Public Relations (DLPR), a leading financial public relations agency, today announced the promotions of four senior executives. Stephanie Dressler, Sean Dougherty and Zach Kouwe were named senior vice presidents; and Ted Smith was named vice president. These promotions further strengthen the agency's management team, and position DLPR to continue expanding its range of client services and its opportunities for growth across all of its practice areas, including asset and wealth management, professional services, and B2B.
Ms. Dressler, who joined DLPR in 2012, oversees DLPR's wealth and asset management group, which manages many of the agency's largest financial services accounts. She has more than a decade of experience in PR and financial marketing and communications, and a proven track record of excellence in account management, media relations and social and digital media. Ms. Dressler's strategic, creative and high-energy approach has been instrumental in her rapid advancement from account supervisor to SVP in her four years at DLPR.
Mr. Dougherty, who joined DLPR in 2010, manages and implements media relations programs for the agency's professional services group. He has a demonstrated ability to turn complex and esoteric information into concise and compelling message points, and maintains extensive relationships with journalists at leading national, financial and trade media.
Mr. Kouwe, who joined DLPR in 2011, helps manage many of the agency's more complex accounts, including alternative asset managers, activist campaigns and specialized financial services providers. His "journalistic mindset," strong writing and content development skills, and extensive network of media contacts have been an extremely valuable resource to DLPR. Prior to joining DLPR, Mr. Kouwe spent nearly a decade as a financial journalist, writing for The New York Times, New York Post and Dow Jones.
Mr. Smith, who came to DLPR in 2013 from the sell-side of the securities industry, manages a group of DLPR's premiere institutional and alternatives clients. With a background in institutional sales and trading, he brings strong subject matter expertise and a thorough understanding of financial markets.
"These promotions underscore DLPR's history of promoting from within and recognizing the contributions and dedication of our talented executives," said Richard Dukas, chairman and CEO of DLPR. "Moreover, each of these executives embodies the culture and work ethic that we have established at the agency. They are hands-on in every stage of client service: from the development of strategy and the management of our account teams, to execution, media relations and reporting."
