Duffy's Sports Grill Donates Over $15,000, a Portion of Veterans Day Sales, to Honor Flight

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Duffy's Sports Grill, South Florida's fastest growing casual dining restaurant chain, donated over $15,000, a portion of their Veterans Day proceeds from all 24 locations from Melbourne to Miami Beach, to Honor Flight of Southeast Florida. To further engage the community, Duffy's Sports Grill actively promoted their "Make A Difference On Veterans Day" promotion, donating 5% of Veterans Day sales from all Duffy's locations. Duffy's continues to position their quality-focused restaurant chain by striving to differentiate itself from the traditional sports grill by giving back to charities and their local community.

Honor Flight is a nationally recognized 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to transporting World War II Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials. With a mission to honor the nation's most senior heroes, Honor Flight allows veterans who have waited patiently for far too long to visit the memorial that recognizes their service and accomplishments.
