Duetto Promotes Nelson Veiga to Executive Vice President of Operations, Builds Out Senior Management Team

The company hired Greg Brown to succeed Veiga as Vice President of North American Sales, out of Austin, Texas, and earlier this year, Shivani Jha as Vice President of Sales Operations, out of San Francisco. Duetto also recently promoted San Francisco-based Jayesh Sureshchandra to Director of Software Engineering and Cleveland-based Eric Stoessel to Vice President of Marketing.

The moves were spurred by Duetto's worldwide growth, as it continues to capitalize on market opportunities, further enhance its service capabilities and accelerate the development of team members across the organization. More than 1,000 hotel and casino properties in more than 50 countries have partnered to use Duetto's Revenue Strategy solutions.

Nelson Veiga – Executive Vice President of Operations

Nelson Veiga joined Duetto in 2014 as Vice President of Sales for the Western Region of the United States and then was promoted to Vice President of Sales for the Americas. He has more than 20 years of senior management experience helping to build, scale and manage innovative startup companies in numerous technology sectors.

In his new role at Duetto, he will help lead, coach, develop and retain Duetto's high-potential senior management team; lead and oversee the company's day-to-day operations across multiple functional areas, including Duetto's Customer Success (CS), Product and Creative departments; direct collaborations among these areas and Duetto's sales team, partners and customers; and translate strategic vision into action, ultimately increasing business innovation and market share growth.

Veiga will report to Duetto Chief Analytics Officer and co-founder Marco Benvenuti, who said, "As Duetto has more than tripled in size in the past 18 months, it's critical that we have strong leaders, not only to efficiently manage the company's operations, but also to cultivate the next level of management and provide them with opportunities to grow. Veiga has a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of the State of New York.

Greg Brown – Vice President of Sales, North America

Greg Brown joins Duetto with a track record in revenue generation, long-term corporate strategy and field execution for several early-stage startups.

He served most recently as Chief Revenue Officer at Austin-based Umbel, where he was responsible for demand generation, market development, sales, and customer retention functions to ensure profitability across the business and the full revenue cycle. Before that, he was a senior sales executive at Together Mobile and Bazaarvoice. In the latter role, he multiplied sales teams and aggressively led top-line revenue to $130 million.

Brown has been involved in several IPOs and acquisitions by industry leading public companies. He graduated from Miami University with a degree in Business and Psychology.

Shivani Jha – Vice President of Sales Operations

Shivani Jha joined Duetto in January with more than a decade of sales support and business operations management experience.

She was mostly recently at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she served as Senior Platform and Process Manager, Worldwide Sales and Support Manager, and in other roles. She also worked at Symantec Corp., Global English Corp., and IBM.

Jha has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Strategic Marketing from Stanford University.

Eric Stoessel – Vice President of Marketing

Eric Stoessel joined Duetto in 2014 as Senior Director of Content with more than 20 years of editorial, marketing operations and communications experience. In his new role, he oversees all of Duetto's marketing, events, public relations and external communications functions.

Prior to joining Duetto, Stoessel served as Managing Editor for a leading hotel industry trade publication, and in other roles at leading trade journals and at a Cleveland-area daily newspaper.

Stoessel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ohio State University.

Jayesh Sureshchandra – Director of Software Engineering

Jayesh Sureshchandra joined Duetto in 2012 as Senior Software Engineer. In his new role, he helps manage the engineering team, product release schedule and overall product development.

He brings more than a decade of technical and management experience at companies such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft and Bank of America. Sureshchandra owns numerous patents and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
