Ducker Worldwide Partners with The Eli Broad Graduate School at Michigan State University
TROY, Mich., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning in January 2011, The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University will launch its Master of Science in Marketing Research (MSMR). Among only a handful of universities in the United States offering this type of program, Michigan State University's MSMR program successfully blends the theory and practice of strategic marketing research. The Broad School faculty members leading this specialized program, Dr. Richard Spreng and Dr. Roger Calantone, had the foresight to engage with business leaders and industry practitioners during program development. Furthermore, the Broad MSMR Advisory Board consisting of a cross-section of business, strategic organizations and industry associations collaborate with faculty, students and industry peers across multiple facets: thought-leadership events, internship and employment opportunities and, ensuring the curriculum reflects and ultimately, MSMR graduates meet the needs of business. Ducker Worldwide is proud to serve on the Broad MSMR Advisory Board and honored to be one of a few business leaders participating since the early stages of development.
Joanne Ulnick, CEO and Managing Partner of Ducker Worldwide and graduate of Michigan State University represents Ducker Worldwide on the Broad MSMR Advisory Board and actively participates in thought leadership events and sponsors directed student internships. "After learning more about the curriculum of the Broad MSMR, Ducker recognizes the tremendous benefits of such a program. Hiring MSMR degreed individuals or, sponsoring a student through the program provides Ducker Worldwide critical access to talented candidates. We seek individuals who have the consulting and communication skills to interact with clients as well as have project management and technical competence to design, manage and interpret research studies. As the market research and consulting industry continues to grow, the opportunities available to students through the Michigan State University MSMR and sponsor organizations are significant."
