Duane Morris New York Office Adds Corporate Partner David N. Feldman
NEW YORK, July 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that David N. Feldman has joined the firm's Corporate Practice Group in its New York office. He joins Duane Morris from Richardson Patel LLP. He was previously a name partner for many years of Feldman Weinstein & Smith LLP, a leading law firm advising small-cap companies.
Feldman concentrates his practice on corporate and securities law and mergers and acquisitions, as well as general representation of public and private companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and private equity and venture capital firms.
Feldman is a well-known lawyer and adviser to small businesses and in alternatives to traditional financing through initial public offerings. He regularly meets with the SEC and with congressional leaders on regulatory issues concerning smaller businesses, and he serves on SEC panels on the small-cap markets.
Feldman worked on the going-public transactions for such companies as Puma Biotechnology, Inc., Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc. and Protea Biosciences Group, and he has handled M&A transactions, including the sale of DFA Intercultural Group and the sale of Phoenix Color Corp.
He authored The Entrepreneur's Growth Startup Handbook: 7 Secrets to Venture Funding and Successful Growth (2013) and Reverse Mergers and Other Alternatives to a Traditional IPO (2006 and 2009), both published by Bloomberg Press.
