DTT Maintains Strong Relationship with Krystal Food Company's Biggest Franchisee, WAC Enterprises
LOS ANGELES and LAS VEGAS, Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DTT is proud to continue providing industry leading surveillance and loss prevention solutions to WAC Enterprises, a Krystal Company franchisee headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee. DTT's surveillance services are currently being used at 29 Krystal restaurants operated by WAC Enterprises across three states: Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
WAC Enterprises has experienced a 1% reduction in costs by using DTT to stop employee theft, prevent false claims, and enhance operational efficiency. That efficiency has led to WAC Enterprises being named both 'Franchisee of the Year' and 'Operator of the Year' by The Krystal Company in 2016.
John Jones, a Partner at WAC Enterprises, says that DTT is especially effective as a deterrent. "Even if you never take advantage of the many services DTT offers, it's still a good deal, because you know that your stores are being watched. And a potential thief, or anyone contemplating fraud, knows that the stores are being watched too," says Jones.
Jones says that one thing he appreciates about DTT is that it's not just a reactive service. It's also proactive. "We use video from DTT for training purposes all the time," says Jones. "Having video of previous incidents to show employees represents a great teaching opportunity. DTT has been an incredible success for us."
WAC Enterprises is leveraging that success by continuing to expand their business. They are currently in the process of rolling out a new 'Sweet and Cold' line of products, including a Pumpkin Spice Shake.
"Working closely with John and WAC Enterprises for the past several years has been a great experience for us," says Tom Moran, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for DTT. "They continue to use our products in innovative ways, and represent a model that other franchises can learn from in terms of getting the most out of DTT's many services. I'm thrilled that DTT has contributed to WAC Enterprises' success by helping to reduce their costs."
