DETROIT, Oct. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Residential Home Performance energy efficiency program.
DTE Energy is seeking bids from qualified residential HVAC, audit and weatherization vendors to provide services for Residential Home Performance energy efficiency programs offered by its Michigan electric and gas utilities, Detroit Edison and MichCon.
All parties interested in receiving more information about the RFP should send their contact information, referencing the Residential Home Performance energy efficiency program RFP, to [email protected] no later than Friday, October 28, 2011.
Through this request for proposal, DTE Energy is looking for a consultant to provide services in the areas of installing energy-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, providing in-home energy efficiency information and provide no-cost/low-cost energy efficiency solutions for residential customers. Services to be provided include providing incentives for the purchase of energy efficient appliances, offer technical education and training to customers, offer online energy audit tools, the ability to conduct comprehensive energy audits and provide customers with information on how to save money on energy bills.
The successful service provider must have extensive experience and demonstrated abilities in all aspects of energy efficiency program design, implementation, monitoring, measurement, education and training.
