DTE Energy announces executive appointments throughout enterprise functions
DETROIT, Nov. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy today announced several senior executive appointments enterprise-wide, effective immediately.
David Johnson, vice president, Customer Service and Marketing, has been named senior vice president, Customer Service and Economic Development. Johnson joined DTE in 1999 and, in his new role, will lead DTE's strategic work in its 'customer centric' organization and improving customer satisfaction. Additionally, Johnson will lead the company's economic development efforts throughout the state, serving as a key partner to facilitate dialogue with businesses looking to locate in Michigan.
JoAnn Chavez, vice president and Chief Tax Officer, is named vice president, Legal and Chief Tax Officer. Chavez has been with DTE since 2007, and has led the Tax organization during that time. In her new role, Chavez will continue leading the Tax organization while also assuming oversight responsibility for the legal teams supporting DTE Corporate Services LLC and DTE Gas Storage and Pipelines.
Randall Rutkofske, executive director and General Counsel, DTE Electric, is named vice president, Legal – Utility Operations. Rutkofske is a 30-year veteran of DTE. During his career with DTE, Rutkofske has held positions in several key areas of the company, including Legal, Human Resources, and Operations. As vice president, Rutkofske will have oversight responsibility for the legal teams supporting DTE Electric and DTE Gas, as well as administration and technology.
