DSWE Appoints New Sales Members To Growing Import & Wholesale Divisions
NEW YORK, April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Domaine Select Wine Estates (DSWE), a Manhattan based wine, sake and spirits import and distribution company, announces new appointments to its growing wholesale and national sales teams.

Cynthia Challacombe is promoted to Vice President of Sales, Western Region effective March 16th. Cynthia joined DSWE in 2012 as Regional Manager, Northwest covering five states. In her new role, Challacombe will spearhead efforts in the Pacific Northwest, the Mountain and Desert Territory, and in California, DSWE's second largest market in the U.S. Bill Grant was promoted to California State Manager and adds strategic planning for this diverse market, Grant will report to Challacombe. DSWE has appointed Ted Glennon as Northern California Manager; Glennon will support daily sales initiatives primarily in the Bay Area and joins DSWE from Coastal Luxury Management of Monterey, CA, where he was the Corporate Beverage Director.
In the Southeast Region, DSWE appointed Alex Mejido as Portfolio Director, Diplomatico & Southeast Regional Manager for DSWE. He brings to DSWE more than 20 years industry experience, including tenures at Terlato Wines and Peak Wines International. Most recently he was Owner and acting Vice President of Sales/Marketing at Blend Wine & Spirits.
In a role expansion, Bradley Groper, Vice President, Sales is now overseeing the entire Midwest and Upper Great Lakes market, in addition to his current territories of New England and Mid-Atlantic region. The recent new member to Mr. Groper's team is Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager John Toigo.
In DSWE's local New York and New Jersey markets, Domaine Select Merchants (DSM), the Wholesale Division of DSWE, Haruka Black joins as Japanese Sales Specialist, to further the growth of our Sake portfolio and augment DSM sales team. Emmanuel "Manny" Pena is appointed Key Account Specialist, for Classic & Vintage, spirits portfolio. Pena was previously responsible for all sales efforts in the Greater NY Metro Area for Blend Wine & Spirits, with a focus on Diplomatico Rum and Select Vodka. Two industry veterans join DSM in NJ this month: as New Jersey State Manager/Key Account Specialist and Account Specialist respectively. In Metro New York four new Account Specialists have joined the DSM team, and there is "immediate, further growth of this sales team planned throughout 2014" states Domeneghetti.
