DSM Opens New Solar Field In Belvidere, New Jersey

BELVIDERE, N.J., Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10AM(ET) DSM North America President Hugh Welsh, Sree Veilcheti of GeoPeak Energy and Edward J. Graham of Marina Energy will host an event at DSM's Belvidere, New Jersey facility to unveil New Jersey's newest solar field. Mr. Welsh will highlight the benefits of the solar field to the Belvidere plant's energy consumption, the impact on the local New Jersey electricity grid and DSM's leadership for the state of New Jersey's energy needs.

DSM, whose North American headquarters are in Parsippany, New Jersey, provides the KhepriCoat for the solar panels, which minimize the reflection to deliver industry-leading performance in terms of light transmission, increasing the power yield from every minute of sunlight. The Belvidere project is a 6 MW solar generation facility that will provide approximately 6,437,020 kWh annually, which will produce approximately 30-40% of site electricity needs at peak production.
