DSI Denham Springs Dialysis Welcomes New Medical Director, Dr. Kimberly Williams and Plans Community Open House Event

DENHAM SPRINGS, La., Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DSI Renal, a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, would like to welcome Dr. Kimberly Williams as the Medical Director for DSI Denham Springs Dialysis Center.  Members of the community, dialysis patients, their families and physicians in the Denham Springs and surrounding areas are invited to attend an open house on Tuesday, December 10^th to meet Dr. Williams and tour this facility.  Members of the media are also welcome to attend.

Dr. Williams, a native of Louisiana, is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Pre Med from Xavier University and received her Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Science Center.  Dr. Williams has an extensive background in treating patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).  She previously worked at Dialysis Clinics and Nephrology Practices in Montgomery, AL and in Covington, LA, but recently expanded to Denham Springs to fill an immediate need for Nephrology services within the area.  In addition to her Medical Director duties at DSI Denham Springs, Dr. Williams owns her own practice located within the clinic and is accepting new patients.

DSI Denham Springs Dialysis Center is located at 26737 Highway 1032, Denham Springs.  The facility is a 12-station in-center dialysis clinic that currently serves 30 patients living with ESRD in the Denham Springs area.  Patients at the clinic have access to individual flat-screen TVs, wireless internet access, and free parking.  The clinic operates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00am-6:00pm and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 6:00am-4:00pm.  Dr. Williams sees patients on Tuesdays 9:00am-1:00pm

The Denham Springs facility is accepting new patients, and anyone considering treatment at the facility or interested in meeting Dr. Williams and the clinic team is encouraged to attend the open house.
