OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BancFirst today announced that F. Ford Drummond has been elected to the Company's board of directors. He will begin serving immediately and will stand for election for a full three year term at BancFirst's Annual Meeting of Shareholders in May.
Mr. Drummond is currently the owner/operator of Drummond Ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, a third generation family ranch. Previously, Mr. Drummond served as General Counsel for BMI-HealthPlans in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and as Legislative Counsel for the American Medical Association in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Drummond is currently serving on the Board of Trustees of Allianz Funds, New York; the Board of Directors of The Cleveland Bank, Cleveland, Oklahoma; and the Oklahoma Water Resources Board.

Mr. Drummond is a graduate of Stanford University and he received his JD from the University of Virginia, School of Law in 1989. He is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association; the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy of Oklahoma; and is a director of the boards of the Oklahoma Heritage Association, the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals and the Price Tower Arts Center.
