BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 23, at approximately 9:30 pm, Harold Ennis, 37 years old, died after an accident at Drummond Company's Shoal Creek Mine.
Harold had worked at Shoal Creek Mine for almost four years and was an underground electrician in the electrical maintenance department. He was from Walker County.
Drummond regrets this unfortunate event and extends its condolences to his family, friends and co-workers.
The details of the accident are under investigation by the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration and the Mine Safety and Inspection Division of the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations.
